Caithness Community Partnership is working with communities to support the people of Caithness to live full, healthy lives with opportunity and diversity. We aspire to ensure that everyone living in Caithness experiences positive outcomes in their lives, with a say over the things that have an impact on them and that services delivered by our public agencies support that.

Place Standard - How Good Is Our Place? - Why Place Is Important.
The places where we spend our time have an important impact on our lives. The way a place looks, functions and feels can influence our health and wellbeing, and the opportunities we have access to. Improving the quality of places can help to tackle inequalities.
Understanding the existing and potential strengths of a place can ensure that resources are targeted to where they are most needed. A community engagement project was carried out in Caithness in 2019, which included the Place Standard in its methodology. Final reports can be found here.
