The Inverness Community Partnership has been set up to allow key public bodies, agencies, third sector organisations and community groups the opportunity to work together to plan for, resource and provide services which improve the local outcomes in a way that will help to reduce inequalities in key areas across the City.
The Community Partnership members will achieve this through the development of a Children’s Plan, an Adult’s Plan and Locality Plans.
In addition, Inverness Community Partnership has agreed a Communications Plan for the partnership area that will ensure the local communities are engaged and kept fully informed as to the aims, objectives and outcomes delivered by the partnership members.
People feel better when they have ownership and can influence what happens in their local communities. For this reason, individuals, groups and organisations will be encouraged to participate and contribute to the Inverness Community Partnership decision making processes – whether this be by attending regular meetings; participating in surveys or making representation to group members.

How to get involved?
As a Partnership we are in the process of gathering initial views and opinions from lot of different people about what they feel is good or what could be better about where they live and the services they receive. We would like to make sure you can get involved so we have multiple things happening but if you aren't able to make it along to an event, conversation or to complete the online survey please get in touch to tell us what you need and we will try to meet those needs if at all possible.
Equally if you are part of a community group or organisation and you would like someone from the Partnership to come and speak with your group please let us know and we shall do what we can.
